Business Trend Analysis (BTA) Privacy Statement

Confidentiality of User-Entered Data

Information that you enter into the BTA software for analysis is encrypted and secure to the best of current technology. Capital Valuation Group will hold all user-entered data in confidence. User-entered data will not be shared or used by Capital Valuation Group for any other purpose beyond the user-requested analysis performed by the BTA software.

Terms of Use

These license terms are an agreement between Capital Valuation Group (“CVG”) and you. Please read them. They apply to the software named above as well as:

  • Updates,
  • Supplements,
  • Internet-based services, and
  • Support services (if any)

For this software, unless other terms accompany those items. If so, those terms apply.

By using the software, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the software.

If you comply with this agreement, you have the right to install and use the software on your computer.

If you give feedback about the software to CVG, you grant to CVG, without charge, the right to use, share and commercialize your feedback in any way and for any purpose. You also grant to third parties, without charge, any patent rights necessary for their products, technologies and services to use or interface with any specific parts of CVG software and service that incorporate the feedback. These rights survive the termination of this agreement.

Scope of License

The BTA software is licensed, not sold. The software is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws and treaties. This agreement only gives you some rights to use the software. CVG reserves all other rights. Unless applicable law gives you more rights despite this limitation, you may use the software only as expressly permitted in this agreement. The software is engineered to allow you to use it in certain ways. You must comply with these technical limitations. You may not:

  • Work around the technical limitations in the software;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software;
  • Make more copies of the software than specified in this agreement;
  • Publish the software for others to copy;
  • Rent, lease or lend the software;
  • Transfer the software or this agreement to any third party; or
  • Use the software to provide commercial software hosting services.
